Remapping, done properly
Engine remapping adjusts the software in your car's engine control unit (ECU) so the engine delivers its power and torque differently. Done properly, on a healthy engine, it can make a car feel more responsive and better suited to how you actually drive it, whether that is towing, motorway miles or a bit more fun on a back road.
Every remap at Drive Dynamics starts with the car, not the software. We check the engine's health and read the fault memory first, because a remap will not fix a tired turbo, a sticking EGR valve or a clutch that is already slipping, and it is better to know that before anything changes. We will talk you through what is realistic for your specific vehicle, and we never quote a power figure we cannot stand behind.
Please read before booking: a remap is a modification. You should declare it to your insurer, and it may affect your manufacturer's warranty. We will talk this through with you before any work starts.

Where is Drive Dynamics?
Our workshop is at unit 2, Block 7 West Ave, South Ave, Blantyre, Glasgow G72 0XB. We are open Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:30pm, and closed at weekends.
Will servicing with an independent garage affect my warranty?
No, provided the servicing follows the manufacturer's schedule and uses parts of matching quality, which is how we work. UK competition rules let you use an independent garage for routine servicing. Warranty repairs themselves are still carried out by the dealer.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We offer payment plans on all of our services. Ask us about payment plans when you call or send an enquiry.
Do you remap cars?
Yes, we offer engine remapping and ECU tuning, always after a health check. A remap should be declared to your insurer and may affect your manufacturer's warranty, and we talk that through before any work starts.
